Quincy Bay Residence In Construction

GO Logic is looking forward to the completion of a near passive house standard home on the Quincy Bay outside of Boston, Massachusetts. This year round dwelling was designed to meet the needs for a married couple and their three young children. Despite the density of the surrounding neighborhood, the design takes advantage of great solar exposure and views of the ocean, while maintaining privacy for the residents from neighbors. The two-story residence allocates public spaces and amenities on the ground floor and private spaces on the upper level. The open stair, day lit from above, serves as the focal point of the living room. A detached studio adjacent to the residence frames the exterior space and the panoramic views of the bay beyond. We are currently in construction and look forward to sharing more of the project in the coming months.
